CHAPTER ONE    The Cause of Our Troubles

          When the thousand years are over Satan will be released from his prison Rev 20:7
And will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth – Gog and Magog – to gather them for battle. Revelation 20:8
          Good people wonder why there is so much trouble in this world – war, poverty, greed, corruption, crime. All of these problems are the responsibility of our leadership; good leadership would correct these troubles, so we must conclude that what we suffer from is bad leadership.
          These plagues upon mankind are not new; we could go back to the dawn of time and find leaders prone to making decisions from corrupt positions and perspectives. Any historian of worth could name countless such examples in recorded history.
           For our purposes, let us begin with the discovery of the “New World.” Both the Spanish and the Portuguese were extremely pious in their Christianity, yet they believed it their “right” to conquer and enslave the peoples of a new land. Like the English, Dutch, and Germans who followed them into the Northern Hemisphere, they would proffer that it was their “God-given right” to kill or make slaves of the aboriginals and to steal their lands and exploit natural riches for the benefit of the few who had deemed themselves to be the “Leadership.”  The United States became a nation because European leadership was seen as corrupt. Although the new leaders of the original States were men with faults, they ultimately left the citizens of this new nation with an extraordinary set of documents designed to guide them into the future. Bearing in mind that the vast majority of these men were neo-aristocrats who were only thinking of their own fortunes, they nevertheless left behind the Constitution of the United States, and more importantly and after much debate, the Bill of Rights. They also left an extraordinary body of writings that has inspired people seeking personal freedom ever since.
          Today, more than two hundred years later, our “leadership” has displayed a thoroughly abominable disregard for the Great Constitution. Those citizens who have usurped the government by insidiously controlling myriad parts of the election process have formed a new America so different from what the Founding Fathers had in mind as to render it unrecognizable. The present so-called leadership has become comfortably accustomed to passing pernicious laws they believe in without regard for the sensibilities of the masses. So much for representative democracy.
            The resulting quondam democracy, now quasi-authoritarian, is a nation at war with its citizens. Older citizens might remember how it had been, how it was in decades past. Those who can truly recollect how things were when this nation achieved its greatness are those most remindful of the true intentions of our nation’s founders.
When citizens think of themselves, in their arrogance, as rulers who have the right to stifle dissenting opinions, the Constitution of our United States becomes null and void. When everyone and everything can be searched without cause or warrant, when so-called authorities can come to one’s door and kick it in, ransack a home or business, violate one’s person, and seize an innocent individual’s records, the citizens of this country no longer are free.
          When the “NeoCons” (mostly “bad jews”) took over the Republican party and the Far Right, most people never knew that the core of this group had, in the past, been hard-core Marxist Leftists who switched ranks so as to control both parties (i.e., if you can’t beat them – take them over).When these “One Worlders" suspended the Constitution by trying criminal (e.g. supposed, alleged terrorists’) cases in military courts – after using torture that included beatings, sleep deprivation, water boarding and the practice of making defendants kneel for hours with their hands cuffed behind them and/or sacks over their heads, all in the interest of extracting information and confessions – they returned the United States to the Dark Ages. This barbarism is as unconscionable to the human spirit as it is accepted by those who feel compelled to comply with its nefarious intentions.The citizens of the United States suffer from two opposing yet coexisting forces. On the Far Right, the forces of greed call themselves Republicans. On the Left exist forces that believe they have the right to coerce the citizenry to live a life that only they can dictate – and they call themselves Democrats.
        The New Left’s machinations began to gain power in the late 1960s – quite memorably, for example, when they began busing others’ little children from place to place in order to accomplish their social agenda. In the 1980s, the hypocrisy of the Left was revealed as they said that although war was evil when it involved fighting Communists in the ‘60s, they now thought killing Arabs was the right thing to do. And in the 1990s, the selling out of the Nation by the One World Leftists and the duplicity of greedy Right Wing businessmen came to full fruition.
        Totalitarianism is described as government having total control over all aspects of life, wherein the individual is subordinate to the government and opposing opinions are not allowed. The citizens of the U.S. have begun to discover, all too slowly, that their opinions mean nothing. Policy is being forced upon them against their wishes, yet their response is similar to that of those living under totalitarian governments: What can we do?
         Those are the very citizens, in particular, who might do well to give thought to the eventualities of their apathy and inaction. Those Americans might be wise to imagine a scenario in which the two-party system becomes a one-party conspiracy wherein the plutocrats on the Right go along with anything the Left desires, as long as no one messes with their profits. As part of this not-so-far-fetched scenario, the working class is offered the protection of the Government in exchange for subsistence wages; thereafter, an historic lack of job security is willfully exchanged for barely enough money on which to survive. Yet, while the working class is given reduced wages, the bosses are paid outrageous, obscenely high salaries and bonuses – as much as 666 times the average yearly wage for the common man – yet at a tax rate far below that of the populace. Imagine, too, that everyone is surprisingly content. Still, slowly, a larger and larger percentage of the population is existing on handouts. Food stamps? (The big corporations don’t care – their products are being purchased with them.) Rent subsidies? (The landlords don’t care where the money comes from.) Aid to dependent children? (It’s still money that’s spent and, after all, the workers are paying significant taxes.) Earned income credit? (It’s simply a way of subsidizing low wages, after all.)
       The One World types don’t care when the big employers are allowed to close factories with good paying jobs and open plants in Third World nations, paying foreign workers the equivalent of a week’s pay for a whole year’s work. After all, the Right loves it – and the Left wants to promote the Third World. At the same time that working class jobs are being lost and factories moved overseas, the wallets of overpaid bosses continue to expand exponentially.
        Ninety percent of the population eventually represents nothing more than the tools that the rich use to accumulate their wealth. The workers go to their jobs and dedicate more than half of their waking lives to earning paychecks that they give back as taxes, shelter, food for their families, and the occasional toy. All the while, the wealthy enjoy fabulous lives, resplendent with whatever they wish.The reasonable person understands that if a man starts a business and succeeds, he deserves to achieve great wealth, for it is exactly that free enterprise system that made America great. Yet, the true believer in that system would contend that only the founder should possess this wealth; his children (assuming they went to work for the firm) and/or any other executives should earn only a percentage above what they are willing to pay the workers. Otherwise, that wealth should not be allowed to be “written off.” This is the only fair way.
          As an example, imagine large corporations (including the U.S. government) having only five layers of pay. The lowest wage is for unskilled labor [100%]. The second level (skilled labor with seniority) would earn a maximum of twice that [200%]. The third level (college graduates, e.g. engineers) would receive a maximum of twice that of the second level [400%]. The fourth level (management, etc.) would earn twice that of the third [800%]. And, those remunerated on the fifth and final “layer” would receive a maximum of twice that of the fourth [1600%]. In today’s dollars, that would work out, respectively, to: $20,000, $40,000, $80,000, $160,000, & $320,000. The true obscenity in this Nation lies in the reality that some people are paid $6 per hour while others earn $5000 PER HOUR (i.e., $10 million PER YEAR). Today’s system of overcompensation of some and poverty for others is unconscionable. Under the proposal outlined above, a company still could choose to pay its executives excessive wages – but that remuneration would have to be in after-tax dollars.
         We will talk more about the greedy Right later; however, let us return to the folly of the Left. They have managed to enact many anti-freedom laws, and it’s important that we take a closer look at one of the worst. “Affirmative Action” arose from two words in the 1964 Civil Rights Act and is described by its promoters as: A policy or a program that seeks to redress past discrimination through active measures to ensure equal opportunity, as in education and employment. In reality, Affirmative Action is nothing more than legalized discrimination against white men. Future generations will be able to gaze back upon the following scenario, and surely will be dumbfounded by the sheer idiocy of what transpired:
         The fat cats at the big corporations went along with Affirmative Action because it expanded their customer base; they blamed other causes as their productivity dropped, not daring to state publicly that the problem was caused by the quality of the work force. The big boys went along with the idea of promoting women because they would retire before they had a woman telling them what to do, and they were timorous of the reaction of their wives if they didn’t go along. Slowly, though, the problems escalated and the working class spun down to lower and lower wages and meaningless employment – or to working for or being supported by the state.
         Real men who had been disgusted by Affirmative Action quit their jobs and started businesses of their own. Those who supported the idea of Affirmative Action, or pretended they did, coexisted with the women and minorities who came in and were advanced past them. As the women and minorities took over, the only white men left in positions of power were their allies. Any real men who were still there were threatened and harassed by the new system until they were cowed into submission or they, too, quit. Of course, the new bosses hired people who were like them and whom they liked, so the takeover of business and industry, government and the military, was self-propagating.
        Affirmative Action meant that everyone was a minority except white, Anglo-Saxon, heterosexual males, who by virtue of their numbers were a minority. The abasement continued when the Supreme Court ruled that it was legal to discriminate against them. Men who had high-paying professions married women with high-paying jobs, and the men who would have occupied the latter positions were forced to work at lower stations, pushing the men below them farther down, still – until some came out the bottom.
         Why? What is this desire to put women on top after ten thousand years of civilization? Why after taking over the Western world does our government want to force so-called women’s rights on other cultures around the world by force? Is it Biblical or the work of the Devil? (Consult Revelations 20:8 for details.) We went from “father knows best” to fathers being the brunt of endless jokes in advertising and drama. The net effect was a nation with some families having fabulous life styles funded by two large incomes, and many more families being supported by the system. In the former patriarchal system, each family was supported by the father, so more families had a higher lifestyle. The only solution would have been for every woman with a good job to support a man with no job, but none of them wanted that; they wanted a luxury lifestyle all their own.
         The average man, even though he was a very good worker with years of experience, found it increasingly difficult to get a job. He knew this was because the industry in which he found employment had been exported, and his skills were simply no longer needed. He would have to compete with many more people for the same number of jobs. The pie had not gotten any bigger, but the number of people at the table had changed dramatically. Families that had been supported by fathers on comfortable salaries suddenly were forced to get by on half as much when dad was laid off and replaced with a woman or minority for half the wages; experience, intelligence, and productivity be damned!
          The Far Left liberals thought they had the right, the power, and the obligation to integrate society by reengineering man. Their opposition just seemed to melt away. The men running the system did not fight this; they just folded. Real men had not been part of the system for many years. Any real man who objected was fired. A lot of good men lost their jobs because they voiced their opinions. The Left became unstoppable by gaining control of the courts. The will of the majority meant nothing, laws voted in by the majority meant nothing; one judge could tell (end of preview)
